'I took lessons at the 'Earthquake Music Brigade' for around one year, starting as an almost complete novice. Their style of teaching is both engaging and comprehensive, mixing theory with practice in a way that both complement each other. We focused on classic rock such as Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, but also looked at blues and jazz. The pace of learning was perfect, and I could really tell the difference in my ability after only a short period, and after a year I can now pick a guitar and pick out a tune, find chords and scales and find my way around the fretboard. I'd definitely recommend 'Earthquake Music Brigade' to anyone who wants guitar lessons. I couldn't have asked for more in terms of my own playing progress, in helping me understand the relationship between practice and theory, and the pace of the teaching was perfect. 5 stars!'

For any students looking to learn piano and about the world of music, I cannot recommend Gabe highly enough. I've been learning piano and studying music with Gabe for over a year, starting as a beginner. I've gone from only knowing the very basics of piano and music theory, to a solid understanding of functional harmony, melody and beyond. I'm so happy with my improvement on the piano; now being able to play my favourite songs, and possessing tools to learn songs and even compose myself. Gabe's lessons are so well organised, taking you through the essential building blocks of learning the instrument and music theory, with tons of helpful hacks and methods for learning and playing. All material is provided such as sheet music, chord charts, etc and also recommends suitable books for your interests and development. I could go on, but to put it simply, you truly feel invested in as a student by Gabe. Don't think twice about dropping him a line!
